Heritage Council Support
The Worth Library was delighted to be awarded a Heritage Council Stewardship Grant in 2026. This has enabled the Worth Library to upgrade its environmental monitoring system to ensure that Worth’s treasures continue to be preserved to the best possible standard.
On 17 July 2026 our new Eltek system went live – the data loggers monitor temperature, humidity, lux and UV, providing staff with invaluable information about the environment within the Worth Library. To celebrate this the Worth Library has organized a number of events during Heritage Week 2026, including a tour of the library and a small exhibition on ‘Preserving our Treasures’, and two lectures – details may be found on our News and Events webpage. The Worth Library is deeply grateful to The Heritage Council for this crucial support.
