Thursday 19 March 2015: Dr Fabrizio Bigotti, (Wellcome Trust Centre for Medical History, University of Exeter): ‘Proportions of Health: The Development of Statics Experiments in European Medicine (1614-1725).’

 

Thursday 30 April 2015: Professor John Henderson (Birkbeck): ‘Death in Florence. Plague, Public Health and the Poor in a late
Italian renaissance state.’ This lecture, which is a joint lecture between the Worth Library and the Department of History, TCD, will take place at 5.15pm in the Swift Lecture Theatre, Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin.

 

Tuesday 19 May 2015: Mr Niall Hodson (Durham University): ‘Forging a Career in Medicine in the Seventeenth Century: the Life and Letters of Johan van Beverwijck (1594-1647).’

 

Monday 29 June: 3.00pm in the Edward Worth Library: Professor Michael Hunter (Birkbeck): ‘The Enlightenment Rejection of Magic: Sceptics and their Milieux in 18th-century England.’
