12 April 2022: Dr Cathy Scuffil (Dublin City Historian in residence), ‘When the post-boxes turned green: Dublin 1922’. This is the local history lecture in the series. This lecture will take online via Zoom at 7.30pm. To book a place for this lecture please e-mail eaboran@tcd.ie before noon 12 April 2022.

28 April 2022: Dr Zubin Mistry (University of Edinburgh): ‘Reproduction, religion and the social history of early medieval medicine’. This is the joint Worth Library-TCD Medieval and Renaissance Scientific and Medical History seminar. Please note that this lecture will take place at 5.15pm. in Phoenix House PX 2.1, Trinity College Dublin (registration required) & online via Zoom. 16 May 2022: Professor Vivian Nutton (University College London, UK): ‘Epidemic diseases in sixteenth-century Europe: civic cohesion and medical innovation’. This is the Grizelda Steevens Memorial Lecture in Medical History. This lecture will take place in the Edward Worth Library.

22 June 2022: Professor Fearghal McGarry (Queen’s University, Belfast): ‘The killing of Sir Henry Wilson: an Irish tragedy’. This lecture will take place in the Edward Worth Library.

28 September 2022: Lecture by Professor Florike Egmond (University of Leiden), to mark the 500th anniversary of the birth of Ulisse Aldrovandi. Please note that, due to illness, this event has had to be cancelled.

14 October 2022: Dr Charles Ivar McGrath (University College Dublin): ‘Swift and Ireland in the reign of Queen Anne’. This lecture will take place in the Edward Worth Library.
