Friday 28 February 2014: Dr Hannah Murphy (Oriel College, Oxford) ‘Worth Collecting?’ Strategies of acquisition, connoisseurship and the importance of medical libraries in early modern Ireland.

Tuesday 8 April 2014: Dr Charles Nelson (Honorary editor of Archives of Natural History): ‘Botany and Horticulture in Dr Worth’s Ireland.’ Booking is advisable for this lecture.

Thursday 1 May 2014: Dr Maria Cruz de Carlos (Museo Nacional del Prado. Dept. of Prints and Drawings ): ‘Giving birth at the Spanish Habsburg Court, 1570-1644’. Note: This joint lecture between the Worth Library and the Department of History, TCD, will take place in the Neill-Hoey Theatre of the Long Room Hub, TCD at 5.00pm.
