Natural History at the Worth Library

Natural History resources at the Edward Worth Library

Edward Worth’s scientific collection contains a fascinating section of texts on natural history. Some of these have been the subject of annual online exhibition, such as Botany at the Edward Worth Library and others have appeared in our ‘Book of the Month’ blog: ‘The Anatomy of an Horse‘, ‘The Anatomy of Plants’, and ‘Considering the Nature of Birds‘.

The Worth Library is delighted to be a member of the Society for the History of Natural History. This is a society for anyone interested in zoology, botany, geology and, more generally, composite natural collections. For more information about membership and events of the SHNH click here.
